First Aid at Work (HSE Approved Course)

Who should attend?
Nominated First Aiders under Health and Safety requirements or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to First Aid.

- Treatment of an unconscious casualty	- Resuscitation	- Eye injuries	- Poisoning	- Diabetes
- Simple record keeping	- Chocking	- Bleeding	- Seizures	- Shock
- Accidents and illness	- Fainting	- Fractures	- Asthma	- Burns
- Using a first aid kit	- Heart attacks

Course Duration – Three days (18 hours)
The course is usually offered as three consecutive days but where it is being done in-house it can be spread over a number of weeks to assist work patterns. This is by arrangement.  For further details contact us

Assessment and Certification
This course includes a final assessment by external examiners and the successful candidates receive an HSE approved certificate valid for three years
