First aid at Work Requalification Course

Who should attend?
Anyone holding a current First Aid at Work Certificate due for renewal.
Attendees should bring their current certificate with them when attending this course.

What will you learn?
This course will give you the opportunity to both practice your skills and refresh the knowledge required of a work place first aider.

- Treatment of an unconscious casualty	- Resuscitation	- Eye injuries	- Poisoning	- Diabetes
- Simple record keeping	- Chocking	- Bleeding	- Seizures	- Shock
- Accidents and illness	- Fainting	- Fractures	- Asthma	- Burns
- Using a first aid kit	- Heart attacks

Course Duration – Two days (16 hours)

Assessment and Certification
This course includes a final assessment by external examiners and the successful candidates receive an HSE approved certificate valid for three years dated from the expiry date of your current certificate.
